Rest of the day is at your own leisure. Overnight: Garden Court Sandton City [B] DAY 2- JOHANNESBURG Explore Soweto for a half-day tour of informal settlements, affluent suburbs, the Mandela House, the Hector Pieterson Memorial and celebrity houses. You will also view history of the segregation (apartheid). You will return to the hotel for rest and relaxation for the rest of the day. Garden Court Sandton City [B] DAY 3 - KRUGER After breakfast you will join a scheduled transfer to the Kruger National Park. The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, this national park of nearly 2 million hectares, Kruger National Park is unrivalled in the diversity of its life forms and a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques and policies. In the afternoon you will proceed for an afternoon game drive. Overnight: Protea Hotel Kruger Gate Lodge [DB] DAY 4 - KRUGER After an early morning cup of coffee and light breakfast you will proceed for an open vehicle game drive in the Kruger National Park. The morning game drives are special where you get a chance to see nocturnal animals returning back to their homes while the daylight species are stirring. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before a well deserved siesta. In the late afternoon get ready for another game drive followed by dinner. Overnight: Protea Hotel Kruger Gate Lodge [DB] DAY 5 - CAPE TOWN After another morning game drive and breakfast you will travel by road back to Johannesburg in time to connect with your flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival at the Cape Town International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. On your decent, pass through Malay Quarter, City Center, and Company Gardens. Optional visit to Castle of Good Hope. Visit the Milnerton Lighthouse with great views of Cape Town and Table Mountain.
